Ambience

At Villa Demetra, elegance is second nature: ambience is provided in every room by the shabby-chic furniture made by the master craftspeople of Città di Castello, set alongside stunning vintage pieces.

As a whole, the structure is able to host up to 24 people, offering a total of 7 bedrooms, 5 double sofa beds and 12 bathrooms, two of which are designed for people with disabilities. Upon request, we can provide guests with 2 additional single beds.

Comfort

Give yourself the gift of peace and silence in the countryside, without sacrificing your comfort.

The entire property features air-conditioning and all the windows — apart from the glass doors of the suites — have mosquito screens; moreover, to guarantee a peaceful night’s rest, all mattresses and pillows in our double rooms are made from memory foam.

Free Wi-Fi is available for guests in all rooms and common areas.

The reception room

Villa Demetra is the ideal venue for your most important occasions: the large reception room that forms the heart of the Villa will be able to host everybody you wish to celebrate with.

The carefully selected fine furnishings create a stunning contrast with the rustic bricks and visible beams, while the elegant travertine marble fireplace provides the pièce de résistance to the room. The space can adapt to suit your needs, whether you wish to use it as an event venue or to host a lunch or dinner, and can accommodate up to 80 people.

It is the perfect location for cultural and social events, presentations and business meetings, as well as for weddings, receptions and celebrations.

The kitchen

Located beside the reception room, on the ground floor of the Villa, our professional kitchen not only offers lunches and dinners, but also makes it possible to organise cooking demonstrations, lessons with private chefs, and catering services for ceremonies.

It boasts cast-iron hobs, grills, and a complete set of electrical appliances including an oven for baking, a microwave oven, a dishwasher and an American-style coffee machine.

Pots, pans and crockery are also available to guests.

The park

The sprawling park outside the villa covers an entire hectare: it is fully fenced in and well lit, allowing you to enjoy nature into the late evening.

The vast expanse of the countryside and the colours of the Umbrian land will provide the perfect backdrop to your time outdoors, while our relaxation areas, the solarium with sun loungers and the pergola crowned with American vine plants will encourage relaxation and conviviality.

One section of the extensive outdoors area also features an organic vegetable plot and a truffle ground.

The swimming pool

Whether you want a refreshing dip on a summer’s day or a starry midnight swim, the swimming pool is available to you at all times.

It is surrounded by the greenery of the park and is open year-round, to be enjoyed alone, by couples, or with children. The stunning salt-water infinity pool measures 7 metres by 14 metres, and is surrounded by sun loungers to combine fun and relaxation.

The wellness centre

Let pleasure wash over you: soak up the warming atmosphere of our wellness centre to revitalise your body and restore your energy levels.

The hot tub will relieve your stress and reawaken your senses; the Turkish bath will open up your mind; while the Finnish sauna and experiential shower will take care of the rest.
